Fish off is Bedfordshire’s biggest commercial match fishing competition. Anglers compete for a place in the Grand Final and a share of the county’s biggest prize fund. 20 Qualifying opens are fished between March and August here at Twin Lakes. Each winner is guaranteed a place in September’s Grand Final. Fish Off also includes a league, which ranks all anglers based on their best 3 results from any qualifying opens. The Fish Off League provides further opportunity for the top league performers to grab a place in the Grand Final.

Twin Lakes Fishery has always been a dream of Andy Thomas's to create a place to fish for his sons and himself. It has been built with the help of family and friends with thought and care to create a place where you can fish in peace and quiet and caters for the pleasure angler and the match fisherman. The name was generated with his twin sons Jack and Sam in mind.
The fishery consists of two lakes. Jacks lake is one acre in size, with two islands and 30 fishing pegs spaced 9 meters apart. The other one, Sam’s lake, is half an acre with one island and 18 pegs. Each fishing peg has a concrete hardstanding platform. Each lake is surrounded by otter fencing and linked by a gate between them.
On site there is a car park which is secured by entry gates for peace of mind and toilets for use. The car park is near the lake so you will not have to struggle with fishing equipment too far.
Even though this is a newly created establishment, it is established on three sides by mature trees which provides a stunning backdrop to your fishing experience. We have an abundance of wildlife here which includes Chinese water deer, munjac deer, foxes, woodpeckers, red kites and many other fabulous birds.
Fishing is strictly by appointment only.
