Twin Lakes Fishery Rules

Welcome to Twin lakes Fishery, Bedford. We hope you enjoy your days fishing with us.

Please follow our rules to ensure anglers enjoy their day and to protect the welfare of our fish.

Please help us by reading the following rules carefully.

  • Fishery landing & keep nets only
  • Only fishery unhooking mats and landing nets to be used
  • No braided lines or hook lengths
  • No keepnets to be used when pleasure fishing
  • In matches, a minimum of 2 keep nets must be used - fish must be split equally between the nets
  • Maximum of 50lb per net
  • Silver fish to be kept in separate net
  • Match silvers to be weighed separately
  • 16 elastic maximum
  • No surface fishing
  • All feeders and bombs must be free running - ensure they are Guru X safe feeders
  • No meat
  • No floating baits
  • All fish must be returned to the lake immediately
  • All waste to be taken home
  • All hooks MUST be barbless no bigger than 12!!
  • Feed pellet must be fishery pellet!!
  • 1 rod or pole to be used at any one time
  • NO moving from lake to lake

Anyone who ignores the above rules will be asked to leave immediately!

Opening Times

Arrival time from 8am - 10am, no access after these times unless special arrangements are made.  Closing time varies.
